FAQs

What can I expect on my first visit?

A warm and inviting welcome!

You will need to complete my consultation form upon arrival and we will then discuss your answers. We will also go through any problem areas or issues you would like me to target.

After the massage, I will offer you targeted aftercare to help complete your experience.

Please note that access to my studio does involve steps and a slight hill in my garden.

What do I wear for my massage?

Please wear comfortable clothing and shower before you arrive for your massage.

I would advise having your hair up and removing jewellery before your treatment.

For a full body massage, you will remain your underwear but will be covered fully with a towel.

Occassionally you may experience any of the following reactions up to 24-48 hours after a treatment:

  • Headache
  • Dizziness
  • Increased thirst
  • Nausea
  • Fatigue
  • Erythema (redness of skin)

These reactions are uncommon but perfectly normal and show that the toxins are being expelled from your body.

What should I do after my massage?

  • Avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours after your massage
  • Drink plenty of water to assist the elimination of toxins from your body
  • Eat a light meal to assist the detoxification and healing process

How do I pay for my treatment?

I accept both cash and bank transfers. Please note I do not have a card machine.

I offer a £5 discount on each treatment for all emergency service workers. Please bring your Blue Light card or work ID to obtain this discount. Failure to provide this will mean no discount can be applied.

Should you need to cancel your massage, please do give me as much notice as possible.
